Day 3

Students received two copies of the lab safety contract, one which should be kept in their binder for studying/reference, and one which should be signed by student and parent, and returned tomorrow, Friday 9/2. 

We began lab safety by viewing the video "Lab Accident at Jefferson High" (see video at left).  We followed the video with a discussion of the importance of eye safety and a demonstration of the effect that acid can have on eyes (see video below).
