Today students considered the question "What is Science?" After some initial brainstorming & sharing, we identified some common themes, such as "study", "questioning", "experiments", and "theories". We watched a video in which scientists from a variety of scientific disciplines tackled this question and gave their perspectives. Students did a final reflection afterwards to summarize their answer to the question "What is Science?" into a single, concise statement. Some of these can be seen in the gallery below:
